Luis & Sofi – A Wellness and Culinary Duo

We’re Luis and Sofi — a husband-and-wife team, both passionate entrepreneurs who believe in a life of balance: healthy habits without extremes, and joyful experiences without guilt.

Luis runs his own fitness and wellness center. Sofi owns her artisanal bakery and culinary studio, La Cocina de Sofi.
Together, we bring the best of both worlds: a passion for physical and mental health, and the deep joy of sharing good, nourishing food.

At Fit4Life Retreats, we believe wellness is not about restriction — it's about creating a life where strength, energy and pleasure coexist naturally.

Luis Marrero – Retreat Leader, Personal Trainer & Dietitian

With over 10 years of athletic background and 4+ years coaching in his own wellness center, Luis brings a science-based, motivating and human approach to health.

A certified personal trainer, sports nutritionist and natural bodybuilding specialist, Luis designs and leads the physical and educational side of the retreat — helping you move better, feel stronger, and develop habits that truly last.

Sofi – Chef & Founder of “La Cocina de Sofi”

With roots in Uruguay, Sofi studied Gastronomy at the Universidad del Trabajo, then specialized in Peruvian cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu in Lima. She continued her journey with a Michelin-star experience in ABaC (Barcelona) — under the guidance of renowned chef Jordi Cruz.

She has worked in top restaurants across Latin America and Spain, and now brings her love for fresh, joyful and culturally rich food to the retreat. Her cooking is vibrant, nourishing and made to be shared.

She also holds a Master’s in Neuropsychology and Education, and believes that food is one of the most powerful ways to connect, teach and care for others.
